Vintage Sey Goshey - Saye Gosha Vintage "sey Goshey" are pieces of textile magic, symbolically rich and traditionally made to cover bedding in Central Asian cultures (Turkmen, Uzbek, Afghan, Kazak). Their unique "v" shape, rich petit point embroidery and multi coloured fringe and tassels all made from cotton, wool, or silk, just happen to work wonderfully as the ultimate hip embellishment. The point can be worn both in front or in the back! These are vintage used textiles worthy of museum display and like vintage cholis and Turkmen coats are an investment and collectible in their own right. Age is estimated between 25 - 50 years old, display them on your wall when not in use but keep them out of sunlight. These are in their natural state and have not been lined or made up into hip belts. Each one is a handmade original, they show some signs of use but are generally in excellent condition. Versatile and easy to fit to your size and shape they can be used as they are with lining and fastenings added or attached to a triangular piece of complementary fabric as a border. Have a look at the heavy hips photo page for ideas on how to use them http://www.heavyhips.net/
