Old Afghan Tribal Headdresses - these are worn across the top of the head with the central pendant on the forehead. You will need to attach some ties to both sides of each of the side pendants which will help you secure the piece to your turban or hairpiece.

KUCHI INDIAN AND TURKOMAN TRIBAL BELLY DANCE HEADPIECES

TRADITIONAL PENDANT HEADDRESSES WITH COLOURFUL GLASS AND BEADING, AUTHENTIC TRIBAL JEWELLERY FROM THE KUCHI NOMADS OF AFGHANISTAN & PAKISTAN.

Old Afghan pendant headdresses, handcrafted in the authentic Afghan tribal style of the nomadic tribes who wander from Afghanistan towards Pakistan and the Sindh. They are made from "gillit", a mystery metal that is mostly brass, nickel, and old melted down coins (low silver content is common).

Most are worn from years of authentic use, they often come with original lining attached and have a great antique BRASSY patina.   Please expect these pieces to be a bit dinged, maybe grimy and missing the odd bead or chain link or dangle, definitely the real deal.

These kinds of headpieces look great worn on your turban or headscarf, or adorning your tribal hair do, or incorporated into belts or embellishing cholis as well.
