Newsletter
Feb 07
Hi all,
This is the first Triballine
Newsletter.
I'm sending it to you because
you have purchased goods from me or I thought you might be interested.
If you don't want to receive it next time just send an email to
subscribe@triballine.com with "unsubscribe" in the subject
line and I'll take you off the list.
I'll try to do a
newsletter once every quarter unless something really important comes up
in the meantime, like I find some great spiky bracelets / cuffs or some
such, so you wont be inundated with emails from me. In the future I
also plan to offer some special buys to Newsletter subscribers only.
What's coming up at Triballine.
- SPECIAL PURCHASE - FCBD
Tissue Skirts - the order closed on the 15/01/07 and the skirts have
been ordered; I'll be in touch with you individually as the order
progresses.
- I am hoping to
offer a special purchase of FCBD Jaipur Skirts beginning late Feb /
March 07, these will also be at great prices so keep an eye out for
them. They come in Black, Purple, Red/Burgundy, Green, Orange &
Turquoise.
- I'm planning to add some
Velvet Cholis to the website soon probably in March 07, These will be
priced around $45 and come in M / L / XL. I'll have them in Black,
Orange, Blue, Green, Purple, Red, Burgundy & Fuchsia and to start with,
I will only have one of each colour in each size, so if you want them
you will need to be quick. Of course you can also order them.

"Namaste"
we see this word used a lot but what does
it actually mean
from Wikipedia
Namasté or Namaskar in
Nepali
and Hindi
(from internal
sandhi
between
namah and
te) is a
South Asian
greeting, which is used when both
Hello and
Goodbye
would be used in English. The meaning can be quite different, however.
It is commonly accompanied by a slight bow made with the hands
pressed together, palms touching, in front of the chest.
In a normal context this word is a respectful way of greeting
someone. Generally done by younger (or in a hierarchy - underlings) to
elders/higher-ups, although, the elders reply back in the same manner.
In context this word can be taken to mean any of these:
- The Spirit in me meets the same Spirit in you.
- I greet that place where you and I are one.
- I salute the Light of life in you.
- I receive the free spirit in you.
- I recognize that within each of us is a place where peace
dwells, and when we are in that place, we are One.
- My energy salutes your energy.
- The life in me sees and honors the life in you.
- May the life within you be strong.
- The light within me sees and honors the light within you.
In other words, it recognizes the equality of all, and pays honor to
the sacredness and interconnection of all, as well as to the source of
that interconnection. Namaskar is the term for such greetings,
and is also used as a greeting itself.
